Your Year in Review

Imagine it is December 31st, 2012. With pen and paper in hand, you are making a list of all the amazing things that have happened in your life over the course of the past twelve months, recording everything that comes to mind.

In this exercise, when appropriate, you might include the month of the activity or accomplishment.  As an example, following is an actual excerpt from my own list:

JUNE: I attended the International Coaching Federation Midwest Conference in Chicago. I enjoyed meeting my core team, my fellow steering committee members, and the many speakers that I and my team selected for this conference. I attended incredible education sessions and made deep connections with professionals who will help me more effectively serve my clients and reach the people I'm supposed to reach.

There are many benefits to this exercise. We are more likely to achieve that which we can clearly visualize. Taking time to think "as if" (in this case, as if the events we hope for have already happened) and writing down the resulting thoughts is a powerful tool for change.

After you respond to this exercise, I will ask you to answer an additional 3-5 simple YES/NO questions, which will be sent to you via email. These questions are designed to move you in the direction of your dreams and goals.

Ready to get started? Make your own "year in review" list and then email me for the three additional questions.
